Technical Recruiter (m/f/d)

Permanent employee, Full-time · Valencia

Your Responsibilities

As part of our core team, you’ll be responsible for recruiting technical talent in Spain across all technologies and industries. You’ll own the whole process for a specific role, from active sourcing, through the interview process and up to negotiating the job offers. Additionally, you’ll have exposure to the hiring managers and will be discussing with them the individual candidates. You’ll have the personal freedom to work on your own initiatives related to improve both the candidate and the customer experiences.

Deep technical knowledge of programming is not required, however you should have a notion of the state of software development, understand the common terms, and are able to confidently source for specific technologies on LinkedIn, as well as evaluate CVs.

During the onboarding process, you’ll learn about our company and our value proposition. After getting fully up-to-speed (2-3 weeks), you’ll get directly into recruiting, which means scanning tens to hundreds of profiles per week and contacting candidates. This is a significant volume, and even though it will not be constant, be sure, you are prepared for that kind of weekly load. Without doubt, you will get all the support and guidance you need along the way.

Your profile

We’re looking for a person who enjoys interacting with people and has great communication skills engaging with candidates. You should bring positivity in the communication, even if the news you have for the candidates are less positive. Additionally, you bring a great sense of compassion and empathy and the drive to support the candidates throughout the hiring process.

Hiring technical staff is a very challenging task. That’s why we are looking for a person, who already has experience as a technical recruiter. We do not care, how many years of experience you have. Instead, we expect you to know how recruiting works, have an understanding of the market and the IT industry, as well as having a proven track record of hiring software developers. Ideally, you also bring in a network of IT professionals in Spain.

As mentioned before, communication is key to success. Thus, you should be fluent both in English and Spanish.

A big part of the role itself is supporting each other in the team, so you should understand the value in prioritizing relationships with your colleagues.
